This is a story of friendship, love and tolerance as well as of the impossibility to have them together at one place and time, especially right here - on the Balkans. The reasons that we suffer of lack of harmony are numerous, almost so many as the good intentions that lead to its prevalence. Either the egocentrism and the inner chaos, or the hot blood and the habit first to act and then to think the situation over, would lead to a tragic mistake, which victim turns out to be the innocent, as normally happens on these lands.

We could treat the movie as tragicomedy eastern of the Balkans and it will not solve the eternal Balkans questions. More likely, it will register the facts and will divulge the reasons of what happens. The catalyst of the process is a Caucasian modern urban individual, accidentally put into a totally different situation and group of people from his usual “friends”. Or, maybe not so different? As happens in life, the movie will not present extremely negative or totally positive characters. But at the end it turns out there is always one, totally positive – HOMBRE!
